We offer 26 different subjects to study at A Level and we can accommodate most subject combinations, within the constraints of the School timetable. The syllabuses we favour are excellent preparation for undergraduate level study across the arts and sciences.
Students begin the Lower Sixth studying four A Level subjects (five for Further Mathematicians), with the flexibility to study either 3 or 4 A Levels in the Upper Sixth. Those who chose to study 3 A levels can supplement them with the IBDP Extended Essay or take the AS Level in their ‘fourth’ subject at the end of Upper Sixth. While A Level provides a specialised level of study, the majority of students also take Supplementary Studies, as well as leading and participating in a huge range of clubs societies and co-curricular activities.
The Sixth Form years are the most exciting and inspiring phase of your school education.
