Ages 7 – 11

We want you to be sure that Brentwood is right for your child, so we ask you to visit us before registering.

Once you have visited and are ready to register then all it takes are a few simple steps:
  1. Make an appointment to visit the School.
  2. Visit the School and meet the Headmaster
  3. Register your child online using the links on this page, and pay the non-returnable registration fee of £100.
  4. Once you have registered you will be invited to attend our Open Morning in the Trinity Term. You will also be asked to bring your child to an Assessment Day to sit the Entrance Test for the year you intend your child to join.

Entrance Tests

All prospective pupils are required to sit assessments in English and Mathematics, in the January of the year they wish to join the School. These tests are based on the appropriate age-related topics in the National Curriculum, which the children should have covered at school, and therefore no special practice papers are necessary. All the Entrance Tests are taken in small groups, in an informal environment where every effort is made to put the children at ease and make the experience enjoyable.

*Please note that for year groups that are not main points of entry (8+, 9+ and 10+), there may be no places available. In such circumstances, Assessments are not held.

However for 2020, our expansion enables us to hold assessments across all year groups.
