There is a wealth of invaluable resources for documenting the history of the School, its pupils and staff, in the School Archives. These include:

Brentwood School Archives

A rate assessment for Brentwood, 1694 (now deposited in Essex Record Office)
•    Poems written by former pupils, including Douglas Adams and Griff Rhys Jones
•    A complete run of the school magazine, The Brentwoodian, 1891 – current
•    School rolls, 1870 - 1945
•    Blue Books (school lists), 1947 - current
•    Indexed admission registers, 1904 - 1947
•    School, house, and sports teams photographs from the late 19th century
•    Play and concert programmes from the late 19th century

We would be very interested to hear from anyone who would like to donate Brentwood School records or memorabilia to the archives. Many of the series are incomplete; for example we are missing many 'Greenwood' and other student magazines. We also welcome donations of photographs or written reminiscences. We are happy to scan and return any items you do not wish to part with.
