Brentwood – a great place to do business

Brentwood School welcomes over 200 local businesses and hundreds more visitors to Middleton Hall Lane today as it plays host to the first Brentwood Business Showcase.

The networking event, organised by Brentwood Borough Council, gives companies the opportunity to raise their business profile, locally, nationally and internationally, as well as make new contacts and share ideas.

The School’s award-winning Bean Academic Centre, the 400-seat Wessex Auditorium and the state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre, will be used as venues for a wide range of workshops and exhibitions.

Keynote speakers include Crossrail Surface Director, Matthew White; Entrepreneur and CEO of the Partyman Group, James Sinclair; Council Leader and Old Brentwood, Louise McKinlay, and Brentwood and Ongar MP Sir Eric Pickles.

The action-packed day, sponsored by Wortley Byers Law, will also see the launch of the Discover Brentwood website to support businesses and visitors. All key business sectors are represented including financial services, creative industries, manufacturing and engineering, construction and property, ICT, retail and leisure and tourism.
