Business Studies Department

Mrs Kelly Giles, BA
Head of Business Studies
Head of Equestrian

Ms Miller started teaching at Brentwood School in 2006. For Ms Miller, Brentwood School provides a fantastic working environment because the students epitomise the core values of the school; virtue, learning and manners.  She commented: "The world in which we live is immersed in businesses and therefore Business Studies is an increasingly relevant, exciting and inspiring subject. I believe in dynamic and inclusive lessons, which are consistently brought to life with current affairs and an academically focused but fun learning environment." Debating the breaking headlines of the BP oil spill to in-depth analysis of the BA employee strikes, her lessons are forever evolving and adapting to the current business environment. Students are encouraged to develop their confidence through innovative pitches and presentations, their communication skills through team working and their knowledge through independent research.
