Harvest Service 2016

A good number of us gathered in Chapel today to celebrate Harvest. This year for Harvest Tearfund is focusing on its work in Uganda and today we followed the journey of a young boy called Aidan who travelled out to Uganda to see for himself what life is like. Today it is estimated that over 800 million people are without sufficient food in a world where many of us have not only three meals per day but a choice of food as well.

During our service we considered God's invitation to us to give of our abundance so that others may have enough to live on and the generous gifts given will go to Brentwood Foodbank and Brentwood Foyer and the financial donations will be donated to help Tearfund in their work.

Thanks to all who joined us today for this special service and a special thanks to the Mill Hill girls boarding house who helped to decorate the chapel on Saturday with flowers.

Every blessing
Adrian
