Non-Teaching Vacancies

The School has over 150 non-teaching staff in a variety of positions that help to keep the School running. These include Porters, Secretaries, Accountants, Maintenance Staff, Communication Officers, IT, Science & Art Technicians, Nurses, Gardeners, Painters, HR Advisers, to name a few. They are a key part of the School and integrate with teaching staff at all levels, both professionally and socially.

PT Grounds Support

Required: ASAP

Hours: Saturday Morning - 7.30am - 12.30pm

We are seeking to recruit a PT Grounds Support to prepare playing pitches for fixtures; maintain kit stores; open all changing facilities; meet and direct opposition teams; ensure the playability of pitches following inclement weather and collect equipment after morning fixtures. 

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude towards children and young people; the ability to work collaboratively; organisational skills; the ability to work under pressure and prioritise and meet deadlines.

Crossing Patrol (Preparatory School)

Required: ASAP

Closing Date: Ongoing 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 9am and 3.10pm to 4.25pm

Brentwood School is a leading HMC co-educational independent school in Essex, just 20 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

We are seeking to recruit a Crossing Attendant who will provide a crossing patrol service on Middleton Hall Lane between the Prep School and the Hough Gate entrance to the Senior School. The succesful applicant will be required to: safely stop traffic and guide children across the road as per training from Essex County Council which will be provided; wear the official clothing as provided through Essex County Council and use the official pole to halt traffic; maintain friendly relations with pupils and adults as a representative of Brentwood School and undergo safeguarding training at regular intervals through the Prep School.
