The School has over 150 non-teaching staff in a variety of positions that help to keep the School running. These include Porters, Secretaries, Accountants, Maintenance Staff, Communication Officers, IT, Science & Art Technicians, Nurses, Gardeners, Painters, HR Advisers, to name a few. They are a key part of the School and integrate with teaching staff at all levels, both professionally and socially.

Contingent Commander of the Brentwood School Combined Cadet Force

We are immensely proud of our CCF. It is the largest of its type in the UK and in its recent inspection was described as exemplary. We are seeking an outstanding leader to take our CCF into the next stage of its development and to direct the delivery of the highest quality programme of activities for pupils and staff. Whilst a specific rank is not a prerequisite for the post, extensive experience of the CCF is essential and candidates from all three services, and any subject background, are welcome to apply. Suitable training will be provided as required.

Job Description - Wraparound Supervisor / Administrator

 

Porter

Applications are invited for the post of School Porter at Brentwood School to be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of portering and security services throughout the School. There are two positions available.

The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, as well as acting on their own initiative, to provide an efficient, safe, customer focused portering service in accordance with prescribed performance standards, responding quickly and effectively to changing service demands, across the entire School campus.

Applicants must hold a Current Full Driving Licence (D1 qualification is desirable) and normal hours of work during term time will average 38 hours per week across a five-week shift roster. This role will include manual handling.
