Non-Teaching Vacancies

The School has over 150 non-teaching staff in a variety of positions that help to keep the School running. These include Porters, Secretaries, Accountants, Maintenance Staff, Communication Officers, IT, Science & Art Technicians, Nurses, Gardeners, Painters, HR Advisers, to name a few. They are a key part of the School and integrate with teaching staff at all levels, both professionally and socially.

There are currently 4 non-teaching vacancies within the School.

Car Park Warden - Preparatory School (term time only)

Closing date: Friday 1st June 2018
Interviews: w/c 11th June 2018

To provide parking guidance to parents and staff who use the School Car Park for events and day parking. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can be firm and authoritative whilst maintaining a polite and tactful demeanour with car park users. This position is based outside  in the Preparatory School Car Park and therefore you should be willing to work in all weathers.  Personal Protective clothing will be provided.

Job Description - Car Park Warden

Boarding House Matron

Start date: September 2018
Closing Date: Monday 18th June 2018

We are seeking to recruit a boarding house matron to work closely with the housemaster and his pastoral team in Hough House, a boarding house for 46 boys aged 11-18. The matron is a ‘parental’ figure in the house, generous with their time and responsive to the needs of the pupils. The role would suit someone who is reliable, friendly, tactful and diplomatic with a good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for a Food & Nutrition Technician to provide support to teaching staff and classes in the Food and Nutrition areas.  Previous applicants need not apply. The successful candidate is expected to adopt a flexible style in order to tackle a range of routine duties in the Department.
