Old Brentwood Robert Eady has graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge, with a First in Computer Science and a plethora of academic accolades.
In the university’s league tables, Robert (2000-2014) was ranked fourth, out of some 100 students, in his final year at Cambridge studying Computer Science.
His achievement was marked with a Foundation Scholarship Award and a subject prize award in recognition of significant distinction in the Examinations.
Robert has now started work as a Senior Computer Scientist with Two Sigma, an American Investment Bank and Hedge Fund, based at their London Office. He is currently on a four-week introductory course in New York.
Headmaster Ian Davies said he was not surprised to learn about Robert’s Cambridge success. He left Brentwood with 11 A* grades at GCSE and A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computing at A Level. “I am delighted for Robert and wish him every success in the future,” he added.
