Orienteering is known as the “thought sport”, combining the skill of map reading with cross country running. The School offers orienteering coaching, which boosts problem solving skills and fitness, and the team takes part in regular events in local parks and woods. The School orienteers have achieved much success in recent years, winning the local schools’ orienteering leagues for the past three years, as well as being frequently placed in competitions. We also have the current East Anglian Schools’ Champion. Orienteering is available to any age, and we currently have participants from the First Year to the Upper Sixth Form.
