Mr Robert Jukes, MA
Head of Physics

"I don’t know how fast I was going but I can tell you exactly where I was"

Mr Jukes enjoys big demonstrations and exciting practical lessons. He delves beneath the surface of physics to explore the underlying mathematics, in particular when it comes to music

Mr Mark Abbott, BSc
Teacher of Physics
Officer Commanding: Royal Navy Section

"Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under your observation in life."

Mr. Abbott enjoys examining the philosophical aspects of Physics as much as the practical ones – he loves nothing better than to discuss the meaning of spacetime, the fate of the universe or a similarly deep question with his students.
