Popular Open Morning draws the crowds

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2016 Open Morning such a huge success.

More than 1000 people attended the annual event - which has become a highlight of the Essex summer calendar – with dozens of families waiting in line even before the gates had opened.
Prospective parents were delighted to be shown around the 72-acre campus with its beautiful grounds, state-of-the-art facilities and our new award-winning Bean Academic Centre which has quickly become the intellectual heart of the School.
It was a case of standing room only for Headmaster Ian Davies’ first presentation of the morning with visitors squeezing into every available space to learn more about the ways in which a Brentwood School education can make a real difference to a child’s life.
With refreshments in the Dining Halls and Bean Academic Centre,  an opportunity for quiet reflection in the School’s mid Victorian chapel, sporting facilities endorsed by Olympians, and  a variety of talks, displays and activities in the Preparatory and Senior Schools, there was indeed something for everyone. There were also tours of the girls’ and boys’ boarding houses.
A proud Ian Davies praised the pupil guides who had been outstanding ambassadors for the School. “Immediate feedback to me indicated that parents were thrilled by all that they had seen and heard,” he said.
