Brentwood School has donated hundreds of tins, packets of pasta, tea, jars of coffee and other much-needed supplies to the Brentwood Foodbank. Food donations were collected over a three-week period and two students from the School’s Mill Hill Boarding House joined teachers in delivering the goods to the Foodbank. Organiser and Head of History, Ms Beth Fuller, said: “With a massive amount of goodwill, and a really determined effort from the students of the School, we managed to collect hundreds of items. On Thursday, we dropped the donations off and the two students were shown around the Foodbank by volunteers.”
Brentwood Foodbank is part of a national network of over 400 Foodbanks providing emergency food to people in crisis nationwide.
