Founded in 1557, Brentwood School offers strong traditions and values alongside a thoroughly modern education. Scholarships and bursaries are available for Senior School pupils whose families meet the criteria for financial assistance.
The Preparatory School is an exciting place where children feel valued and challenged and small class sizes enable the individual to be catered for. Test results are far in excess of the national average.
Brentwood School also offers the highest academic standards. In this year's A Level examinations 94% of grades were A*- C with over 75% being As and Bs.
Development of each pupil as an individual is an important focus. Everyone has the opportunity to participate in an array of activities including music, drama, dance, sport, Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, the optional Combined Cadet Force and community service.
The School has a reputation for outstanding sporting success at county, national and international level. Excellent sporting facilities include an indoor swimming pool and sports hall, fitness suite, all-weather AstroTurf, playing fields and an athletics track.
All Brentwood School pupils have the confidence to enter any arena. There are many notable Old Brentwoods including distinguished civil servants, judges, generals, bishops, politicians, admirals, sporting personalities and other prominent figures in society.
