There's plenty for Sixth Formers to do outside of lessons:

Be the next editor of the Brentwoodian (student magazine)
Join the Sixth Form Charity Committee
Attend SABS - a Sixth Form academic society with guest speakers
There is a busy social calendar culminating in the popular annual Summer Ball
Join the optional Combined Cadet Force (Army, Navy, Airforce)
Take extra, tailored courses to explore areas of personal interest (eg: Italian for Beginners or Cooking at University)
Lectures, presentations, trips and visits
Do the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Take part in Community Service activities
Play in one or more of over 20 Sixth Form sports teams competing against other schools.
