Brentwood School's Sixth Formers celebrated this August with another excellent year of A Level results. 91% of grades were A - C with over 72% being As and Bs. 22 exceptional candidates received 3 or more A grades and 7 outstanding pupils will be attending Oxford or Cambridge University in September 2009. The school boasts 100% pass rate, this year out of 366 A Levels taken by 119 pupils, 366 were passed.
GCSE results were also outstanding, 97% of pupils gained all A*- C grades and a total of 53.5% of all grades were A* or A. This is the fourth successive year at Brentwood School that well over 50% of GCSE grades were A* or A grades. Fourteen pupils gained 10 straight A* and A grades and student Tobias Trojan achieved a remarkable 11 straight A* grades.
