‘Enterprising’ – the word that describes what Brentwood School is all about. The proof – confident, dynamic and positive pupils, fantastic achievements.
For Variaam enterprising means successfully taking part in the Pre-Prep Sports Day for the first time.
For Sam and Ryan in the Sixth Form enterprising means using the School’s resources to produce a film to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Enterprising people know what makes them tick and don’t settle for second best. Our pupils perform – academically, in the visual and performing arts and in sports.
Academically we produce our fair share of top-class performers across a huge range of subjects, including the International Baccalaureate or any combination of 26 subjects at ‘A’ level.
To get the best results, boys and girls are taught together until the age of 11, separately from 11 to 16, and together again in the Sixth Form.
You cannot fail to sense the enthusiasm and vitality here around the visual and performing arts both inside and outside the classroom.
Brentwood sport is nationally renowned in a number of areas. 350 pupils represent the school every Saturday. Winning is a habit.
Many different kinds of individuals thrive here because we are a strong community where boys and girls get involved and have all the support they need. We think of it as intimacy within scale.
Brentwood is not just a day school. We also welcome boarders, and they in turn lend our community an important international dimension.
The community extends beyond the school. There's a flourishing alumni network that helps open up career opportunities for our graduates and enables them to keep in touch with each other.
