We have an enviable recording history, having released rock, jazz, Big Band, choir and ensemble CDs. Many pupils learn musical instruments during the school day. So as not to disrupt the same lesson each week there is a rolling rota of instrumental lessons.

Brentwood School's Big Band
Brentwood School's Big Band is world famous. Formed in 1983 by Old Brentwood David Pickthall, who became the School's Director of Music in 1987, the band has given hundreds of concerts in England and Europe, playing to enthusiastic audiences numbering several thousands. Annual visits to Nuremburg, Germany, have taken place for over a dozen years, from which has developed a strong association with the Big Band of Wolfram-von-Eschenbach-Gymnasium.
