Today Brentwood School welcomed The Right Honourable John Bercow MP to the School as a guest speaker at a Sixth Form academic society. John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons, was invited to speak to the Sir Antony Browne Society (SABS), the Sixth Form academic society. Mr Bercow gave a dynamic lecture about the speaker’s role in parliament and also his previous work as a Conservative MP for Buckingham.

Today Brentwood School welcomed back Old Brentwood, The Right Honourable Andrew Lansley MP to his old School as a guest speaker at a Sixth Form academic society. Andrew Lansley was invited back as part of the School's full and varied programme to stretch students intellectually and prepare them for life after School. He gave a lively and amusing lecture about his time at Brentwood School, his life's work in politics and his current role as the Secretary of State for Health.
