Following the outstanding A Level achievements of Brentwood School's Sixth Formers last week, the school has announced similarly excellent GCSE results. 97% of pupils gained all A*- C grades and a total of 53.5% of all grades were A* or A.  This is the fourth successive year at Brentwood School that well over 50% of GCSE grades were A* or A grades.  Fourteen pupils gained 10 straight A* and A grades and student Tobias Trojan achieved a remarkable 11 straight A* grades.

The school's Headmaster, Mr Ian Davies commented: "I am delighted with the results; the secret to the pupils success lies in the fact that they are taught as individuals by subject specialists, in small classes with many opportunities to develop their character and personalities".
