East House students got into the festive spirit and raised money for The British Heart Foundation and CLIC (Cancer & Leukaemia in Children). 

Throughout the Michealmas term, students have raised monies in several ways, including; a fundraising cake sale, collecting money throughout break times with charity tins, as well as, sponsorship from friends, family and teachers to wear festive costumes to school.

Participant Sian Morris (pictured above) said, ‘we all discussed which charities to donate the money to and agreed on The British Heart Foundation and CLIC.  We feel they are worthy causes and particularly chose CLIC as it is a lesser known Cancer charity'.

When asked how much money they have raised so far, Sian replied ‘we are still raising money throughout the term, but our target is to reach £1000'.
