The majority of our Sixth Formers achieve the grades they require for their first choice of University. These students have shown considerable commitment and dedication to their studies and we wish them every success as they prepare for their final examinations this summer. Several other exceptional pupils received excellent offers to study subjects like medicine at other top universities."
Brentwood School has a very strong academic record with nearly every student continuing into higher education after leaving the school. The school provides advice and support to help students through the demanding process of applying to University every year.
Mr John Bowley, who is in charge of Oxbridge explained, "In order to be offered places by Oxford and Cambridge University, students have had to demonstrate first class academic performances as well as the maturity to thrive under the collegiate system and tutorial teaching arrangements that they offer. The high number of offers demonstrates that in academic terms, our students are able to succeed in the toughest university selection processes."
