Brentwood School's first concert of 2008 was an intimate Chamber Concert which featured the school's more experienced musicians.

The repertoire comprised of solo performances and small ensemble pieces featuring GCSE and A Level Music students and their performances were recorded as part of their course.

It was an evening of contrast and varied entertainment which included songs by Beethoven, Mancini, Mozart and Vinter. One of the highlights of the evening was the finale by student Lingcheng Kong who performed ‘Scherzo No. 2' by Chopin on the piano, completely from memory.

The concert saw record numbers in the audience and all that attended were impressed at the talent and confidence of Brentwood School's Music students.
