The Brentwood School U14 netball team won the quarter finals of the Essex Cup last night against Trinity Catholic Girls' School, in Woodford Green. The final score was 20-12 and despite freezing conditions the girls' all performed brilliantly against a very tough opposition.
Head of Girls' Games at Brentwood School, Justine Saunders commented, "The girls' thoroughly deserved to win and it is testament to their hard work in training and teamwork throughout the game. The netball courts at the School were upgraded this year and are now fully floodlit, which has enabled the team to train even in winter months."
The team do not know who their opposition will be or the date of the semi finals as the other quarter final is yet to be played. We wish the team the best of luck in the semi-finals!
