Brentwood School's Under 13 Football team won the ISFA cup on Thursday March 6th at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium with a hard fought win against King's, Chester. 

The match was effectively settled with ten minutes to go when student Elliot Lee added to his stunning first half free kick with a cool finish after he had rounded the goal keeper.  Josiah Awosile added a third just before the finish beating two defenders and the goalkeeper before confidently slotting the ball home. 

The score line does not reflect the closeness of the game and Brentwood had to defend desperately at times to stop a talented and previously unbeaten King's side from scoring.   

Proud Coach Wignall said of the win "The boys have worked extremely hard to get to the ISFA final and deserve to be crowned National Independent Schools Football Association Champions.  They have developed into an excellent team and with continued commitment further success is on the horizon".
