Brentwood School raises over £40,000 a year for charity and its only by doing stunts such as the attached photo that we can. This set of pupils held a charity week at the school to raise funds for P.O.R.T (Pscudo Obstructiobn Reseach Trust) a local charity set up by two families in 2006 who lost children to this condition and Helen Rollason's Heal Cancer Charity.
This group of senior students dressed as Easter Bunnies and did a number of activities to encourage fellow students to donate to these two worthy causes. Charity activity included; walking around in breaks and lunch times with charity buckets, holding games and activities at breaks for younger pupils, such as, ‘Egg Darts', Egg and Spoon Races, holding Cake and Chocolate Egg Sales and by selling raffle tickets to win a Mongoose BMX bike.
Teacher Nicola Heelam said of the pupils "They have all worked very hard in the past week to raise around £1000 for their chosen charities and have been very creative with the ways in which they have fundraised".
