Wooden Spoon Charity Dinner, Friday 10th October 2008

The school is holding a Charity Dinner on Friday 10th October 2008. The purpose of the dinner is to raise money for two good causes: - The Brentwood School Travel Bursary Fund to enable pupils at the school to benefit from trips and activities which they would otherwise not be able to afford
- The Wooden Spoon Society. The Wooden Spoon is a national organisation which raises money for disadvantaged children. The national organisation and the main beneficiary of the money raised is the local charity SNAP which provides support for parents and carers of children with special needs.
Former Scottish Rugby Professional Eric Peters will be giving a speech and there will be exclusive auction items, including: - Signed 2005 Ashes shirt - Signed and framed Arsenal shirt - Signed and framed Manchester United Pennant- A Box at Southend United for 10 for a match of your choice including hospitality and a chance to meet the players- A one week holiday in the New Forest - One year's membership at Stock Brook ManorThere are only 15 tables of 10 available on the night and several of these have already been sold. Tickets are £60 each.
