On Saturday 19th June 2009 the Committee of Old Brentwoods and Brentwood School held its annual Old Brentwoods Family Day. All Old Brentwood members and families were welcome to revisit the school and participate in a day of family activity.
The day began with coffee in the Bean Library and tours of the School to see how things had changed. The Annual General Meeting was then held in Old Big School where all Old Brentwood members were asked to participate.
This year's Family Day was particularly special for those Old Brentwoods from 1959 as Brentwood Preparatory School Headmaster, Nigel Helliwell agreed to a special tour of the Prep School in addition to providing a buffet lunch for the 1959 vintage.
All other Old Brentwoods enjoyed lunch on Roden House lawn by invitation of the Senior School Headmaster, Ian Davies. It was splendid weather, making lunch at Roden House a very pleasant event.
The afternoon was also an opportunity for OBs to participate in a variety of sports either on the pitch or from the sidelines. Old Brentwoods then finished the day with Tea in the Dining Halls.
