The Brentwood School Pre-Preparatory pupils attended school today in their 'History off the page' costumes to learn about Stuart London and how the Great Fire was started.

This history lesson gave the students the opportunity to role-play and learn about the trades of Stuart London, such as weaving, dying, baking and leatherwork.

The children also considered a range of eyewitness evidence at a "Royal Court" and finally they gave their proposals for how the city should be re-built.
