We are proud to announce that Brentwood Preparatory School has been selected as BBC Essex ‘School of the Week' next week (26-30 April)

Radio reporter Nadine Carter visited the Prep School on Tuesday, 20^th April and spoke to some Prep pupils including members of the choir, members of the swimming team, football team and cross country teams who recently won their Brentwood District Competitions. Nadine asked the children about their favourite teachers, subjects, sports at the school and what makes the Prep School special.

The BBC Radio Show will be broadcasting snippets of the interviews with pupils throughout the week and on Thursday morning (29^th April) will be broadcasting and interviewing pupils live on air.  BBC Essex will be chatting to gymnasts and teachers at 07:45 and 08:45 about the school and the success of the gym team, who recently became Essex County Champions for the 6th year in a row!

At approximately 08:45 a radio reporter will also watch a gym routine and talk to the head teacher about the sport programme at the school.  In addition, the BBC Essex reporter will be staying behind after the broadcast to talk to children interested in radio and seeing the mobile studio.
