Parent communications

We believe that good communications between home and School is of utmost importance for the well-being of all our pupils and we regularly keep in touch to update you on your child's progress.

We provide regular information about the academic progress of your child and about their welfare, and you are always welcome to contact us to discuss with us any query - however small it might be - on 01277 243 333 or prep@brentwood.essex.sch.uk.

We produce a regular newsletter which is emailed to all parents who have registered their email address with us and is also published on this website. This provides a range of information about current news, celebrates recent achievements and important updates and reminders. If you would like to register for the newsletter please complete the form >Register for communications

The Home School Diary is a useful means to communicate on small day-to-day matters, for instance to let us know if someone is collecting your child or to make comments each time you hear your child read. If you have a lengthy or confidential query then it is best to request an individual appointment.

The Parental Contract, also known as the Terms & Conditions of the School, is the contract between Brentwood School and the parents of pupils. This contract contains important and legally-binding information to which parents commit themselves when they accept a place for their child at Brentwood School; it also covers important School information, such as, the Aims of the School, the Complaints Procedure, Code of Conduct etc.
