Brentwood School is a large and dynamic HMC co-educational independent school. Both A Levels and the International Baccalaureate are taught within a 6th form of some 330 students. Required for September 2008 a well qualified and committed teacher of English to teach the subject throughout the school to GCSE. This post is for one year to cover maternity leave in a large and successful department.  Candidates should indicate areas of extra-curricular interest, including those related to English, in which they would be prepared to become involved.
