Parent communications

We provide regular information about the academic progress of your children and their welfare. The Form Tutor acts as a main point of communication about your child; all pupils use a homework journal and short notes or queries can be passed to and from School using this journal. There are parent consultation evenings held throughout the academic year and you are always welcome to contact us to discuss any query, however small, on 01277 243243 or headmaster@brentwood.essex.sch.uk. 

We have a virtual learning environment (VLE) including a parent portal where parents can access important information relevant to their child via a secure login.  Pupils can also use the VLE to access work and reference material from home. The Headmaster produces a regular newsletter, which is emailed to all parents who have registered their email address with us; this is also published on this website. This provides a range of information about current news, celebrates recent achievements and contains important updates and reminders. The Parental Contract, also known as the Terms & Conditions of the School, is the contract between Brentwood School and the parents of pupils. This contract contains important and legally-binding information to which parents commit themselves when they accept a place for their child at Brentwood School; it also covers important School information, such as, the Aims of the School, the Complaints Procedure, Code of Conduct etc.
