On Thursday 26th April 2012, Students of Brentwood School were fortunate to see first-hand the official London 2012 Olympic Torch. Accompanied by a member of the Metropolitan Police team responsible for security, the torch was shown to all parts of the School during the two hour long visit. This event was part of an educational and inspirational afternoon and follows the recent announcement that the School has been selected as an Olympic 2012 training venue for competitors of the Modern Pentathlon.

Anthony won two gold medals at the Commonwealth Games shortly after graduating and was part of Team GB at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He continues to represent England and Great Britain Senior Men’s sabre teams and hopes to achieve success at the London 2012 Games.
