Hundreds of schoolchildren from across Essex are enjoying the opportunity to flavour life at the Brentwood School through a series of ‘Taster Days’.
Year 5 pupils from independent and state schools across the county have been invited to sample life at the school which has become a beacon of academic and sporting success.
Three ‘taster’ lessons give youngsters an opportunity to experience a normal school day at Brentwood School and help to prepare them for the transition to the School in a fun and unique way.
This week’s visiting pupils were especially excited to be following in the footsteps of Chelsea football star Frank Lampard, an Old Brentwood, who last Saturday became the first captain in the history of Chelsea Football Club to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy.
To round off a memorable morning, the visiting youngsters joined pupils and staff to savour the famous Brentwood School lunch in the Dining Halls.
