We believe that good communications between home and School is of utmost importance for the well-being of all our students and we regularly keep in touch to update you on their progress.
We provide regular information to students about their academic progress and about their welfare. In the Sixth Form we monitor students progress very closely with formal assessments of effort and achievement every half term. These graded reports are shared with parents. We encourage all our Sixth Form students to take responsibility for their own progress and you are always welcome to contact us to discuss any query on 01277 243 243 or headmaster@brentwood.essex.sch.uk.
We have a virtual learning environment (VLE) including a parent portal where parents can access important information relevant to their child via a secure login. Students can also use the VLE to access work and reference material from home.
The Headmaster produces a regular newsletter, which is emailed to all parents who have registered their email address with us; this is also published on this website. This provides a range of information about current news, celebrates recent achievements and contains important updates and reminders. If you would like to register for the newsletter please complete the form >Register for communications.
