Christingle Candle-lit Service for Advent
You are warmly invited to join us for our Candle-lit Service for Advent, which takes place on Sunday 1st December at 4pm in the School Chapel.
Advent marks an important moment in our Church life as we await in darkness for the light of Christ whose birth we celebrate at Christmas. Our service will begin in darkness and the Chapel will slowly be lit as we welcome the light of Christ. During our service, we shall focus on the significance of the Christingle which helps to tell the story of our faith. The service is suitable for all ages and all within the wider community of Brentwood School are most welcome to join us.
Parking for the service will be available within the Senior School in Library Square. Please drive through the gates at the Courage Hall entrance to school on Middleton Hall Lane and drive through into the school site to park in the square. The Chapel is then a short distance from there. There will be refreshments served at the end of the service so please do contact the Chaplain directly if you are planning to attend so that we can cater accordingly.
With every blessing
Revd Adrian McConnaughie
