Brentwood Preparatory School is a large, academically selective IAPS school with outstanding facilities, small class sizes and a happy and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of over 1900 pupils, just 20 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

We are seeking to appoint a Forest School Practitioner to be part of Forest School, which is expanding and now offers more children the opportunity to learn through play in our wonderful Bayman Woods; an area of ancient woodland on our School site which is home to an array of flora and fauna and a vast amount of wildlife.

Working in Prep 3-7, the successful applicant will help give our children the opportunity to climb trees, light fires, cook on the campfire, enjoy crafts, use tools, play in the mud and have an all-round fantastic time outside in nature, fully embracing the Forest School ethos. You will be expected to lead the Forest School session to groups of up to 30 children who will always be accompanied by their Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants.

The position is suitable for a qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and is initially a fixed-term contract until July 2025.
