This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or unqualified teacher to work as an unqualified Teacher of Computer Science for two terms, before undertaking a PGCE from September 2025 to July 2026. We offer the OCR GCSE, IB Diploma HL/SL, and AQA A Level specifications.

Members of the department collaborate and contribute jointly to the development of programmes of study, with the ambition to be at the forefront of innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The department is also involved in the development and delivery of our digital literacy curriculum which supports the School’s digital strategy, including the use of Artificial Intelligence

Brentwood School has its own pay scale that is significantly above the maintained sector and we also have a range of subsidised staff accommodation that may be available for the successful applicant should they need to relocate.
