Ages 11 – 16

The majority of pupils join the Senior School at age 11 years. However, some join at 13 and at other ages too.  We draw pupils from a wide range of schools in Essex, Hertfordshire, London and the South-East of England as well as international locations. If you are interested in applying for a Senior School place, please follow the steps indicated below.

Here is our registration process for the Senior School:

  1. Make an appointment to visit the School.
  2. Visit the School and meet the Headmaster or member of the Admissions department.
  3. Register your child online or by post, using the links on this page, and pay the non-returnable Registration Fee of £100.
  4. Once you have registered, you will be invited to attend our Open Morning in June. You will also be notified of the date for the Entrance Exam on Saturday 20th January 2018 and, for Admission at age 11, be sent sample examination papers in Mathematics and English. For other years of entry, pupils will be required to sit examination papers in Mathematics, Science, English and a Modern Foreign Language.  This examination will also be held in January. School reports will also be requested.
