Hough House is a purpose-built boarding house, which caters for 47 boys, aged between 11 and 18. All boys have their own comfortable bedroom and there is also a lively communal common room in which to relax.
Rob Shearman and his wife, Carla are the new Boarding Housemaster and Housemistress of Hough House. Rob started as Housemaster in January 2017 and also teaches Geography. He will be joined by Carla in September 2017; they have a young family.

At Hough House, emphasis is placed on each individual students needs and every student is encouraged to develop new skills and fulfil their potential academically, socially and spiritually.
On a daily basis there are a range of evening activities on offer after prep (homework), which include indoor and floodlit football, golf, visiting the cinema and full use of the Sports Centre facilities. Other activities include trips to Alton Towers, London theatres and Christmas shopping.
