Operational Vacancies

The School has over 150 operational staff in a variety of positions that help to keep the School running. These include Porters, Secretaries, Accountants, Maintenance Staff, Communication Officers, IT, Science & Art Technicians, Nurses, Gardeners, Painters, HR Advisers, to name a few. They are a key part of the School and integrate with teaching staff at all levels, both professionally and socially.

Learning Support Assistant - Full time, one-term (may be potential to extend to one year)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated Learning Support Department and become the key support person for a Year 7 student to ease their transition from primary school. This position is full time for one-term, however, there may be potential to extend to one year.

The successful candidate will provide in-lesson assistance, assist with practical tasks, support SEND students to access the curriculum and undertake small group and one to one intervention programmes, under the direction of the SENCO.

Salary:                  £38000-£46000pa, depending on expertise and experience

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to be responsible for the effective and efficient management of external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and/or awarding body regulations for exams administration with a consistent and secure approach at all times, thereby maintaining the integrity of the external assessment process.

The successful candidate will liaise with the Line Manager and other pivotal members of staff to assist with the management and administration of internal exams following external examination procedures as closely as possible. They will have excellent organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy, effective interpersonal skills, and be proficient in the use of IT systems and software packages including knowledge of the school management system (iSAMS) and Sling with a willingness to undergo training where necessary.
