KS2 School Council

We’re excited to introduce the members of our new Key Stage 2 School Council!

Last week, the elected councillors attended their first meeting, where Mrs Goodfellow presented them with their official School Council badges. Mrs Goodfellow also spoke to the group about the importance of their role and the various tasks they will be undertaking throughout the year.

The School Council is already hard at work on its first major project: a thorough review of the School’s existing rewards and behaviour management strategies. We look forward to hearing their valuable input and suggestions as they work to represent the student voice.

To help them excel in their roles, the councillors will be attending a special leadership skills workshop next week. This session will be hosted by prefects from the Senior School, giving our Key Stage 2 leaders a fantastic opportunity to learn from older students and develop the key skills needed to effectively lead projects and represent their peers.
