Leo L Selected for ISFA U16 National Squad

Over the Christmas holidays, Year 11 student Leo L was selected to represent the prestigious Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) international U16 representative football squad. This included an intensive training camp held at St George’s Park National Football Centre, along with a fixture against an academy team.

The ISFA representative squads comprise the best footballers from independent schools across the country.

Leo was called up for the squad in the last week of the Michaelmas term and impressed in the first fixture against Burton Albion U16 academy. Following this fixture, Leo was invited to a further training camp in the new year and is hoping to be selected for the upcoming international fixtures later in the season.
