Harvest Festival

Year after year, the incredible kindness of the Prep community leaves staff speechless, and yesterday’s Harvest Celebration was no exception.

Pupils, families, and staff came together to collect crate after crate of essential items in support of the Trussell Trust Brentwood Foodbank. Thanks to the community’s amazing generosity, the collection point was left overflowing.

During the morning assembly, everyone had a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the impact of these gifts. Revd Dr McConnaughie spoke about the vital role local foodbanks play in supporting families in need, while the School’s fantastic Assembly Orchestra filled the hall with beautiful music and singing.

The teamwork did not stop there. House Captains were out in full force helping Dale and Kevin from Brentwood Foodbank load the van. Seeing the children work together and realise just how much had been collected was a truly special moment.

A massive thank you goes out to everyone in the Prep community for their continued kindness, as well as to the team at Brentwood Foodbank for all that they do for local families.
