A Musical Glimpse of Brilliance in Celebration Assembly

This week, our assembly focused on the theme of open-mindedness, encouraging our community to explore new ideas and embrace styles and experiences we might not have encountered before.
And what a way to open our minds!

Both pupils and staff were treated to an absolute masterclass by two of our very own: Mrs Cole and Ms Liang, our new Music teacher and new Prep Graduate Music Assistant, who have recently joined the Prep Music Department.

Unbeknownst to many, both are trained opera singers, and they completely captivated the hall with stunning performances of a Mozart duet from The Marriage of Figaro and Delibes’ breathtaking Flower Duet.

The room was filled with pure awe – safe to say, nobody expected that level of world-class talent during our Friday assembly! A massive thank you to Mrs Cole and Ms Liang for inspiring us to keep our minds open and for giving us a performance we won’t forget anytime soon. You truly embodied what a ‘Glimpse of Brilliance’ is all about!
