Facilities & Classes

Our fitness suites are well-equipped with cardio and resistance equipment to help you train effectively whatever your fitness goals.

Alongside the equipment, our fitness suite is constantly monitored by a member of staff who is on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Our Life Fitness equipment has integrated TV screens with touchscreen technology. This allows our members to easily set their specialised training routines, chart their progress on computerised courses or tune into one of the many TV or radio stations on offer whilst they exercise.

We offer a wide range of group fitness classes to suit many interests and abilities. The cost of all our fitness classes is included in our membership fees so it’s as easy as booking your place and turning up. All of our classes are run by experienced and enthusiastic instructors who will ensure your experience is as enjoyable as it is effective. We have a six-lane, 25-metre Swimming Pool with a separate Learner Pool and changing facilities for adults and children.

We also hold swimming sessions to suit all abilities, from fun swimming and Aqua Aerobics to deep water and shallow water fitness training.

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Badminton

This enjoyable sport is perfect for children. It’s relatively easy to learn, requires less upper body strength than most racquet sports and takes place on a small-sized court. We have 7 badminton courts available to hire for 55-minute sessions.

Squash/Racquetball

Squash or Racquetball (squash played with a bigger and bouncier ball) is an exciting sport that’s also ideal for playing with children. Due to the size of the court, it doesn’t require a lot of skill or strength to get going but it will certainly keep you entertained and burn off some pent-up energy! We have 4 glass-backed squash courts available to hire for 45-minute sessions.

Basketball

Played by all ages and abilities around the world, basketball is a great sport to play with children. Play against each other in a 2 on 2 competition or play as a 2 in a free-throw competition to see who can get the most baskets! We have several half courts available to hire for 55-minute sessions.

Make a splash

A splash party is the perfect celebration for swimmers. With the whole pool at their disposal, children can play with an array of floats, balls and toys. Suitable for all ages. Under 8’s and non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.

Members up to 30 children: £130

Non-members up to 30 children: £150 

How to book a party

• Contact reception to check availability and agree on the date and time.
• Fill out the Booking Form within two weeks of receiving it and return it to reception who will ask for payment on booking.
• Collect copies of your complimentary invitation if required
• Tell us about your catering arrangements
• Turn up and enjoy the celebrations.

Parties can be booked up to three calendar months in advance by members and up to two calendar months by non-members. Please inform reception staff of catering arrangements at least five days prior to the event.
