Our fitness suites are well-equipped with cardio and resistance equipment to help you train effectively whatever your fitness goals.
Alongside the equipment, our fitness suite is constantly monitored by a member of staff who is on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Our Life Fitness equipment has integrated TV screens with touch screen technology. This allows our members to easily set their own specialised training routines, chart their progress on computerised courses or tune into one of the many TV or radio stations on offer whilst they exercise.
We offer a wide range of group fitness classes to suit many interests and abilities. The cost of all our fitness classes is included in our membership fees so it's as easy as booking your place and turning up. All of our classes are run by experienced and enthusiastic instructors who will ensure your experience is as enjoyable as it is effective. We have a six-lane, 25-metre Swimming Pool with separate Learner Pool and changing facilities for adults and children.
We also hold swimming sessions to suit all abilities, from fun swimming and Aqua Aerobics to deep water and shallow water fitness training.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Term Time Activities
This enjoyable sport is perfect for children. It's relatively easy to learn, requires less upper body strength than most racquet sports and takes place on a small-sized court. We have 7 badminton courts available to hire for 55-minute sessions. To book a court, just call our reception.
Squash or Racquetball (Squash played with a bigger and bouncier ball) is an exciting sport that's also ideal for playing with children. Due to the size of the court, it doesn't require a lot of skill or strength to get going but it will certainly keep you entertained and burn off some pent up energy! We have 4 glass-backed squash courts available to hire for 45-minute sessions. To book a court, just call our reception.
Played by all ages and abilities around the world, basketball is a great sport to play with children. Play against each other in a 2 on 2 competition or play as a 2 in a free-throw competition to see who can get the most baskets! We have several half courts available to hire for 55 minute sessions. To book a court, just call our reception.
14-15 Year Old Gym Session
This is a session dedicated for teens with a fitness instructor on hand to offer advice and guidance. This session takes place weekly on: Saturdays from 1pm - 8pm and Sundays from 1pm - 4pm (Half Term: 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday). For their own safety, no persons under the age of 14 years are allowed in the Fitness Suite at any time.
