Grassroots Championships Success

Brentwood School’s equestrian team had a fantastic day at the NSEA Grassroots Championships held at Beechwood Equestrian Centre which were held on Bank Holiday Monday after being postponed due to bad weather way back in December.

Brentwood Prep pupils, Lucy, Rae B, Rae T and Ava, all rode beautifully to win both the 60cm and 70cm championships. Individually, Rae T had an outstanding win in the 60cm with Rae B a tremendous third, while Lucy was a super second in both classes and Ava placed a terrific 3rd in the 70cm.

Team manager and trainer, Mrs Annette Philpot, said: “I was thrilled at how determined and well the team rode. What a fantastic way to end last year’s championship season; we look forward to competing in Hickstead in August and at further championships with the same team. Best of luck to them.”
