Dare to be Different Day

The Friends of Brentwood School will be holding their annual Dare To Be Different Day for all Prep pupils on Friday 27th March.

A group of smiling schoolchildren in uniforms pose together, some wearing playful accessories like colourful glasses and hats. Text reads, Dare to be Different, Friday 27th March on a blue background with a fleur-de-lis symbol.

For one day only, pupils are encouraged to look a little different during the school day. They may choose up to a maximum of 5 things from the list below:

  • Wear crazy socks
  • Wear trainers all day
  • Wear a cool hat
  • Bring books & kit in a non-school bag
  • Style hair with gel to create a modern/different hairstyle or add accessories of their choice (no hair dye please)
  • Wear coloured nail varnish

For each ‘difference’, pupils will be asked to donate £1 (up to a maximum of £5). If, for example, your child decides to wear crazy socks, a cool hat and have a different hairstyle, they would be expected to make a £3 donation to the Friends of Brentwood School via this link.

We look forward to seeing how creative you can be!
