Dylan’s Charity Haircut for the Little Princess Trust

At the Prep, we all know Dylan C in Year 4 for his legendary hair. Over the years, his hair has practically become its own character; from gravity-defying mohawks to those unforgettable crimped sessions courtesy of his sister, Dylan’s hair has always been a huge part of his vibrant personality. However, for nearly a year now, Dylan’s famous locks have been growing for a very special reason.

It all started back in June 2025 when Dylan first heard about the Little Princess Trust. While he loved the idea of helping children, he had one very important question: “Is there a Prince’s Trust? I love my hair, and I’d be so sad if other boys didn’t have the chance to have a wig if they lost theirs.” It was a real lightbulb moment for him. Dylan wanted to speak up for the boys and remind everyone that “the chaps” care about their hair and their confidence just as much as.

A smiling child holds up blonde hair in plaits. Around them are six smaller photos showing stages of a haircut. The text reads “Dylan’s Big Chop” and “Little Princess Trust” with a crown logo.

After doing some research, Dylan discovered that the Little Princess Trust provides high-quality, real-hair wigs to all children and young people up to the age of 24, helping them regain their identity during incredibly tough times. But there’s a catch: while the wigs are provided free of charge to the families, each one actually costs the charity £700 to make, fit, and style.

With the 18th of April approaching fast, Dylan is finally ready for the barber’s chair. He originally set out to fund two full wigs, and we are absolutely thrilled to share that he has already smashed his initial target! But in true Dylan fashion, he isn’t stopping there. He wants to raise as much as possible to ensure even more children can feel like themselves again, all while supporting the charity’s vital research into kinder treatments for childhood cancer.

We are incredibly proud of Dylan’s kindness, his determination, and his mission to represent the “Princes” out there. If you would like to help Dylan reach an even bigger total for this brilliant cause, please donate via this link. We’re all rooting for you, Dylan, we can’t wait to see the new look.
